Wah... Haven't been updating the past few days.. Wanna know why? It's because I was sick.. The doctor said I was down with the world cup fever.. The bad part of this sickness is that it doesn't have a cure.. The good part? Well, it'll go away by itself soon.. =P

Things have been really hectic with the e-learning week last week.. We had to complete several quizzes online within a short period of time.. To make things worse, there were like 2 projects due within that week.. >.<

To make things EVEN WORSE.. The World Cup has started.. xD ppl are going to have more sleepless nights.. hehe.. But of course they're exciting to watch.. Even if you don't bet, it's still ermx.. takes you on the edge of the seat to see your favourite team play..

My favourite team is France.. WOOT I just love Henry.. He;s so skilled and elegant with the ball.. Bah.. But too bad France hasn't played a match yet.. I want to see how Zidane perform since he's retiring after this world cup..

ermx.. for now let's just enjoy the holidays shall we? =D

Learning is GOLDEN!!

A tutor of mine once told me that we learn at least 10 things everyday.. Well I don't know about the amount of things we learn per day.. But I do know I learnt something today.. Photography!! Thanx to Lynn of course.. =)

Was supposed to watch DVC Code with Chris and Vaness.. But I cancelled it to accompany Lynn to take some shots at Raffles.. She looks so cool taking those shots.. lolx.. She taight me a thing or two about taking photos.. I had no idea photography was really tedious.. but it seems fun =P

At about 5pm.. I had to take my leave coz she's meeting up with her friend to take more shots.. So I went to Cine, and waited for Chris and Vaness.. I waited for like 1 hour! lolx..

Oh yeah! The three of us went to see Vera [Jie] at her workplace..[Isetan]For the first time, I saw her boyfriend in person.. *gasp*.. He's 17 but he's got the build and a preety face.. >.< I'm not kidding.. All you gays out there.. go get him =P But beware.. lolx I won't say why.. just beware..

Yesterday,

Me, jie, kor and Poh Chuan [Ze Ah Beng].. we were supposed to go to Mediacorp to watch the SG Idol.. Got ticks from Vaness..But we ended up going town instead.. >.< First stop.. CINE!! We watched "Over the Hedge" Funny show.. Jie said I looked like Hammy.. -_-'' Those who like cartoons.. should really watch this show.. it's really hilarious..

Then, we decided to walk around town.. Bad move.. lolx.. we walked from Cine all the way to Far East.. and then back to Cine again to take the train back from Somerset.. At Far East, all of us were talking about a makeover.. wearing gothic for the second year.. wahaha..

Oh yes! Poh Chuan "wanted" to get a "tatoo" but after he heard the noises from the *tatoo-machine* [whatever that thing is called] He got scared.. hahax.. The pain.. >.< But they're like soo professional.. Nice designs they put up to attract ppl..

On our way back from Far East, we saw these street performers.. 3 red indians with their musical instrument.. Their song was catchy.. So naturally, me and Jie started to dance.. lol.. We could see so many pairs of eyes staring at us, like we're some alien or something.. xD

It was all fun.. But it wasn't so fun when our legs started to wobble.. hehz.. Everyone was like dead tired..

*Note to self.. Never go out with Jie if there's music.. xD

Politics Explained!

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"

Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said. Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed. The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I Understand the concept of politics now." The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about." The little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit."

WOO! It feels good to be back in school.. I took an MC yesterday.. This was what happened when you don't listen to your parents lol.. On Tues morning, my parents told me to go see a doctor.. [Note: I already had fever then] But being the stubborn I am, I didn't.. I decided to skip maths the following day instead..

So on wednesday, I got back, took a shower.. and i was shivering like as if i'm living with Santa Claus.. It was really, really cold.. Using my jacket and my blanket, to keep myself warm, i fell asleep at 8pm.. woah.. that's like super early..

On thursday, I skipped TWO presentations.. Went to see the doctor.. I guess, i lost presentation marks.. What to do.. *sigh*.. But on the other hand.. I felt better.. so it's all good.. So went back to school today.. So happy to meet my jie and friends.. wahahax..

Woah.. Poly life begins to take effect.. It's starting to make everyone feel a sense of urgency.. I mean, with so many projects due over the weeks, you can see everyone at the library, working feverishly on their projects.. Some groups.. sitting down together, discussing.. Some just doesn't seem to care.. When you see people working or studying, you will feel a little scared, nervous.. You would feel that what you've done is not enough..

MoB test tmr.. I'm really scared.. lol.. I don't know ANYTHING about that module.. Luckily i got friends who are "experts" in that area.. So we met up today at Woodlands' Library.. me, Chris and Vera.. We studied from 1-5 and then watch Poseidon [however u spelt that] then continued studying until 9pm..

I'm amazed at myself today.. It's the first time i'm really concentrating on studies.. *gasp* The end of the world must be nearing.. But seriously, forming a small study group like this is VERY effective.. Don't form a study group of more than say 5 people.. or it'll get VERY chaotic.. When one gets distracted, others would too.. But in a group of 3.. it's easier to manage.. =D Thanx Vera and Chris!! WOO!

Btw.. to those who didn't get to watch Poseidon, you guys [and gals] missed a very.. very.. VERY! good movie.. It's a mix of horror, suspense, emo kind of movie.. If I'm not wrong, today was the last day it's being shown at the movies.. So i guess, you just have to buy a *fake* dvd to watch.. lol.. [i didn't say that]..

Haiz... too much work.. Wrong timing to have a fever.. It's hurting reaaaaal bad.. Can't do anything right.. been really really grumpy.. Because of that i'm angry at this particular person.. School's boring today.. Maths and ITOS.. zzz... Two most boring lessons.. *sigh*.. both have projects due next week.. very bad.. Only maths project is done.. Itos.. still got loads to do.. It's like i suddenly have no time for other things.. >.< Very very bad..

*woo*.. Went to Queensway today with my classmates... Been a long time since i've been there.. We went to see see + relieve stress .. hahax.. So many things to buy!!! I went to this sports shop, wanted to buy their sports shoe.. went to another shop.. wanted to buy another thing..

Wah.. lucky the new season soccer jerseys haven't come out.. if not, i would have bought it already!!! hehe.. Several new shops.. but overall things never change..

Wah.. These few days.. suddenly feel soo sleepy.. Don't know what's happening.. Can't really pay attention in class.. So damn tired.. Projects everytime.. Projects after projects..

CA tests in 2 weeks time.. OMG.. I need to start revising.. reading.. if not, I will confirm fail.. Next week.. Maths Quiz.. *sigh* A-Maths.. suks big time.. so tedious.. hate maths.. *roar*

Looking forward to the weekends.. Can't wait.. Relaxing time.. ahahax.. But must suffer for one more day.. Tmr.. *gosh*.. end at 5 tmr.. supposedly end at 4.. but because Fri is a holiday, lectures/tuts are brought forward..

Today was a tiring day.. hee.. Went for badminton trial.. I don't know if I nail it or not.. Trial was tough.. 7 in a group.. We're suppose to go one on one with the school team player.. They'll see how you play etc..

The guy who trialed me kept smashing.. Luckily I was able to return shot.. After the trial.. I was told to put down my name, contact infomation etc. I hope to get into badminton.. If not i'll be cca less.. *sigh* CYA still have not called me yet.. bleahs..

After badminton, went to play pool at the Guild House.. Saw these school team players.. They look so cool with their gloves and personal cue sticks.. They have one stick specially to break the balls.. and one stick to play the game.. Interesting..

Feel like going to the pool try-outs.. Who knows, I might even be in the school team!!! hahax.. *dreams*.. Woops.. Dinner's ready...

There's a quote from a senior of mine which i found out to be quite true.. Here's what she put as her msn nick..

This is especially true for guys.. Well, us guys [most of us] would turn our heads when there's a *hot girl around*.. Instantly, we'll have a crush on her.. Then, we'll keep thinking of her.. Once we have her contact, we'll keep in touch with her, and as the days gone by, the feelings develop..

I don't know about the girls.. But I do have female friends whereby the above quote applies to them as well.. hahax..

Well.. this is what is happening to me.. I think I'm falling for this girl.. But I'm unsure of this feelings.. Got to know her from a friend's blog.. [Thanx girl!! hahax] After seeing her pic, I somehow have a crush on her.. Been keeping in touch ever since..

Went out with her once only for a movie.. But hope to go out with her more often in the future to know more about her.. =)

Some of you may know what's beatboxing is.. For the benefit of those who don't, it is the ability to make music from your very own mouth.. Yep that's right.. Cool huh.. In Singapore it's not really that popular but there are beatboxing competitions. Guess what, the guy who got second place [Bryant] is from SP!!!! Watch him!

But of course, there are others from other countries who are waaaay better than him.. Just watch this video..

Never in my life have I ever felt so bored.. I'm in ITOS class.. [IT n Office Software].. Lecturer going through the basics of microsoft word.. excel etc etc.. sooooo boring.. 90% of my classmates are on web messenger.. hahax..

She's so mono.. Feeling bored.. sleepy.. can't stand it.. Sitting at the last row was a bad move.. hahax.. Worse still... need to do project.. T_T.. Luckily my group chose Photoshop.. At least it's interesting..

I didn't think I would start a blog.. =/ Well someone psycho-ed me to create one.. [she should know who she is =P] So I gave it a shot.. and *tried* to design a skin for it.. Well right now, it's just the background.. I plan to add borders and stuffs.. soon... don't ask me when.. It's soon =P

Yesterday school was boring.. Sitting down at the lecture hall, so darn boring.. Couldn't even understand what was being taught.. Had to re-read the text over and over again.. Oh yeah, we were suppose to have a 3 hour break, 1 hour self read and 2 hour of break.. But me and my friends *accidentally* took 4 hours..

=/ We thought lesson started at 1pm.. Someone told us that, I'm going to whack the guy if I found who.. =P Don't let me find you!!! hahax.. Luckilly, the lecturer was kind enough to mark our attendance when we explained to him the situation.. *phew*

Oh shoot.. I got to get ready for school!!!
